After 10 tracks in two days, 100 drivers across 18 cars and many hours of planning, setup, clean up and air filters, Opposite Lock 2009 was one of the single biggest racing events in RSM history.
The 2009 event was a great weekend with some fantastic driving, determination and plenty of crew spirit as 18 cars took to the tracks with all manner of driver and times. A number of cars suffered from various mechanical problems with most cars continually reappearing at the start line after people thought they were out for the event.
Congratulations to all drivers and crews on great driving, entertainment value, lots of laughs and excellent behaviour.
Many many thanks to everyone who came up and competed, spectated, or assisted the committee with the running of the weekend. Without the help of those who volunteer to do recovery, timekeeper, score entry, setup and clean up, the event wouldn't be the success that it is.
Congratulations to Sir Dallas Brooks Rover Crew with Bung'ole on taking out both 1st Overall (Rovers) and 1st Non-Rovers.
Full Results will be released within the next week or two.
Everyone who attended Opposite Lock are invited to leave your thoughts, comments, suggestions on our Event Forum.
Thank you all again. Next up... Lead Foot.
